JELD-WEN adjustable sill pans are designed to protect against weather-related water infiltration around entry door and patio door sill areas and are compatible for installation with JELD-WEN steel and fiberglass exterior and patio doors. Made of tough PVC plastic and placed at the threshold prior to door installation, the sill pan (or sill dam) adds a waterproof layer that helps direct any water running down the insides of the door jambs or over the finished sill back outside the home. By directing the water away from the home, the sill pan can help homeowners avoid problems related to water damage around exterior-facing doors, such as buckling floors, stained carpets, and rot.
